Cybersecurity Business Development Representative

InfoSight is looking for cybersecurity Business Development Representatives to accelerate its growth. Successful candidates must be consultative selling professionals with significant IT and/or InfoSec sales experience.

What you’ll do

  • Execute a high volume of outbound prospecting calls to potential clients
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, emails, social media (Facebook/LinkedIn), CRM campaigns
  • Research prospects, identify key players, and generate interest by leveraging the knowledge of the cybersecurity industry
  • Identify prospects based upon perceived needs and suggest appropriate solutions
  • Actively track, analyze, and report against opportunities.
  • Proactively plan, set critical milestones, assess, clarify and validate needs on an ongoing basis, to establish productive relationships
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, services, and pricing models
  • Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers

What you need

  • Exceptional understanding of cybersecurity, managed network security services, threat management and penetration/vulnerability testing services.
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical with persuasive and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technical abilities and phone skills
  • Desire to succeed and drive to contribute to an exciting, fast-paced cybersecurity provider
  • Sales experience within a technology, cybersecurity and/or advisory services environment
  • Must have exceptional computer skills, especially Excel and Salesforce
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple daily tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be organized, disciplined and able to travel
  • Strong sense of urgency and a competitive edge.
  • Keen listening and critical thinking ability

What would be nice

  • Understanding of Risk Management and Governance
  • Sales experience in financial and/or public utilities space
  • Ability to hunt for new opportunities and develop quick relationships
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, GLBA, HIPAA
